What is processed locally

Proposal details, source notes, citations, review records, versions and library answers are stored in this site’s IndexedDB database. Only the theme preference is in localStorage. No proposal or document data is uploaded, sent to a model or used for analytics.

PDF and DOCX readers run locally. The original file is held temporarily during extraction; it is not added to the saved workspace. On explicit draft creation, extracted source text, selected requirement notes, the filename and a SHA-256 file fingerprint are saved. Cancelling extraction or closing its dialog invalidates pending results.

The browser downloads application files and, when needed, local reader modules and PDF font/character-map assets from the same site. The hosting provider receives ordinary page/asset requests, which can include IP address and browser details. This is not an anonymous-hosting or no-logs claim.

Who can open this workspace

Anyone using the same browser profile can access its records. There is no cloud account boundary, multi-device sync or app-managed encryption. A shared computer, private-browsing session, full storage or cleared site data may affect availability and privacy.

Source references are inert text. Document actions, macros and PDF scripts are not executed by the reader workflow. Extracted content is displayed as text, not rendered as supplied HTML.

Exports contain your sources

Markdown, printed/PDF proposals and CSV matrices can contain client details, responses and evidence. Proposal document appendices include source notes, including passages not selected as requirements. The workspace backup includes all proposals, saved versions, library answers and copied sources.

Review exported files before sharing. Keep backups private. Reviewer names and imported history are author-supplied records, not independently authenticated approvals.

Remove or recover local records

Remove a proposal from the workspace to delete its draft and versions. Copied library answers remain independent; remove them through the answer library if you want those copies deleted too. To erase the whole saved workspace and theme, close other Proposal Studio tabs and clear site data for proposal-studio-eta.vercel.app in browser settings.

Downloaded exports and copies shared elsewhere must be removed separately. This preview has no server copy to recover. Export a workspace backup before clearing storage. A restore replaces the current workspace after confirmation; invalid imports preserve existing work.

Future services

Cloud storage, email/password and Google accounts, team permissions and purchases are not enabled. Their ownership, access, retention, deletion and recovery behavior must be implemented and verified before release.

Commercial schedules

Pricing items, requirement links, rates, tax entries, commercial terms and pricing reviews are stored locally with your proposal and retained in saved versions and full backups. They are included in Markdown and printable proposals; a separate pricing CSV contains the commercial schedule. Treat these exports as confidential and check the intended recipient. The requirement matrix CSV excludes prices. This app does not collect payments or verify author-entered reviewer names.
